The Tall Tale of Robert Frosty Theatre Company
Apart from Robert Frosty winning best Sketch Performance at the 10th annual Snubfest Comedy Festival hosted by Under the Gun Theater we have mounted the inaugural production of our critically acclaimed, annual, holiday-themed, fight-infused sketch revue entitled, 'Twas the Fight Before Christmas, we have caused mayhem, mischief, and maelstroms in not-one-not-two-but-THREE installments of Nothing Special Productions' very special productions of FIGHT NIGHT including A Little Fight Music, Look Ma! No Hands!, and Fight Night X, melted faces at a number of private events, and provided the most insidious of fight designs for New Millennium Theatre Company's original production of Old Hobbits Die Hard at Royal George Theatre, Just Ranting The Blues' production of Lorenzo The Rat Slayer, BYOT's world premiere of By Definition, both Social Graces: A Show About a Lack Thereof and The Real World: Space Edition at The Public House Theatre, and Forever Safe Productions' feature films Less Than 30 and The Pale Man.
Born of rage and forged in the crucible of millennial nihilism, Robert Frosty Theatre Company seeks to tell the greatest untold stories of American folklore through the illusion of stage violence - from poet Robert Frost's chance encounter with Satan all the way to the odyssey surrounding the ancient and primordial magic of Guns 'N' Roses legend, Slash. Formed by pseudo-historians Scott Myers and Luke Van Marter in the summer of 2014, Robert Frosty Theatre Company has been slicing and dicing theatre in Chicago ever since. And when the billowing smoke clears all that remains will be to bestride a golden nightmare steed and helm the highway called Armageddon to a destination named Eternity.
